Rajesh Khanna, born Jatin Khanna on 29 December 1942, became Bollywood's first superstar with 15 consecutive solo blockbusters from 1969–71. A beloved romantic icon, he debuted in Aakhri Khat (1966) and gave unforgettable performances in Aradhana, Anand, Amar Prem, among others. He ventured into politics, serving as Delhi MP (1991–96), and produced films. He passed away in 2012, leaving behind a remarkable estate including the legendary Aashirwad bungalow and a continuing legacy of royalties and public memory.
